Making a shop…

A year ago if someone had tolsaid I would have completed a shopfit & design on the  Kings Road, I probabaly would have laughed. But when your boss texts you asking if “want to design the new shop” with one of your best friends then you can’t help but jump up and down and say yes!

The design brief was simple turn a concrete shell into something new and original. We wanted the design language to allign with the original Bloomsbury bakery and the newest cafe in St Pauls, so we designed a concept with the tagline “vintage nostalgia meets modern design”.

The cafe is 50% finished as we are still awaiting chairs, an espresso machine, oven, crockery etc to arrive.

The grand opening will be Friday 14th October but open 12-4pm Wednesday – Sunday for takeaway cakes.
